Last night we told you about the new shipment of plants that came in for Diani Chan, the now famous plant vendor from San Roman village where she has her business "Botanical Gardens By Roselyn."

We said that her shipment wasn't checked at the border as required, but the chairman of BAHA, Hugh O Brien texted us to say that it was.

He said that BAHA made sure all her permits were in order, and there were no CITES plants on the list. He adds that Forestry had 11 days to review the application and also granted the relevant permits from their end.

He says that BAHA inspected the plants at the border, and all certifications were in order.

As regards the new procedure, he adds that BAHA and forestry have been synchronized and that, quote, "the respective roles were sorted out and that the importer respect all the protocols and procedures."
