And over in the sugar industry - the crop was off to a late start but things should be looking up for the farmers soon. That's because they will be receiving an increase in their fuel subsidy. The Minister told us more today.

"I think the last text I saw was $4.00 gallon farmers are getting. Last year when the crop ended, we were at $2 plus, because government was absorbing a part of the tax, but the Prime Minister said that he would definitely this year make adjustments to that and he will increase the subsidy to the farmers so that they get a better value on the subsidy."
