The government has released the new increased prices for Liquid Petroleum Gas, which will come into effect tomorrow, February 1st.
The increase is 28 cents per gallon, The change is due to an increase in the acquisition price of both propane and butane. In a release by the National Gas Company, they note that prices tend to increase in the winter months due to seasonal demands and other market factors, but that they actually decreased during the holiday season. However, they are increasing now at the end of January and that trend is expected to continue.
