Rodwell Ferguson explained that it's in decline, and that many citrus growers have opted to plant other types of crops. And the PM added that the citrus industry could be replaced with bamboo.
Well, these comments rubbed some of the Stann Creek constituents the wrong way, and today, the area rep for Dangriga stood up to sort of go against his colleagues and say that the citrus industry isn't going anywhere.
