But even with Digi's stellar financial numbers, when it comes to fixed network speed, it was still ranked below Nexgen. With the investments made to ensure the strength of their fiber backbone, how did Digi get outclassed by its competitors? The CEO told us it's a technical issue is what caused their low ranking.

"One of the things that we have was that one of the Ookla servers was not connected for us so then it wasn't measuring us so I think give it three to six months when you get the speed test then you'll see where we're at but we weren't connected at that point in time for one reason or the other but now we're back online with Ookla so that's why you were seeing more speed tests from them."

"Okay, because they also ranked Digi as the third fastest speed behind Nexgen and Southern cable, this accounts for that as well?"

"Correct, exactly."
