"Belize's cruise tourism future is still remains unclear because we still have no berthing facility for Icon class."
Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism
"It is unclear if you looking at the sun without a shades, right? We have a clear path of how we want to go. I believe that it will all sort itself out within the next couple of months. We have had tremendous conversations with some of the bigger cruise lines. and we're looking, at several options at this time, but I can almost 100% state that we will have a docking facility within the next few years."

"The options are clear. Either it's going to be some miracle at Stake Bank, or it will be some miracle at, Port of Magical, or it will be something new at the Port of Belize. Those are the three options."

"All of those things are still at play."

"So, we will see. All I can tell you is that, as long as I'm involved, we will make the right decision for the Belizean people."
