Belize Bus Association Holds Off On Strike, Will Wait For Cabinet Decision on Fares

There will be no bus strike on Monday. The Belize Bus Association today announced that bus services will continue as normal on April 20 and 21. In a press release the BBA says the matter has been taken up by the Minister of Transport and will be discussed at the next Cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 21. After that, the BBA will know where they stand with the fare increase they've been asking for. Depending on the outcome, they will decide how to move forward.
