Hilux Flips After Collision With 18 Wheeler

It looked like a serious accident but no one was seriously injured.

There was a collision this evening in Camalote village in front of the Baptist Church before the main speed bump between a Toyota Hilux and an 18-wheeler truck with cargo.

Reports to 7 News indicate that the Hilux was coming westbound with the 18-wheeler going in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Hilux told us that the 18-wheeler allegedly lost control, veered out of its lane, hit the Hilux, and caused it to flip onto its side. The 18-wheeler then ran into the drain where it came to a stop in the middle of evening rush hour traffic. No fatalities have been reported and the scene is still being assessed.
