Extradition proceedings against Hertular were today instituted in the Magistrate's Court. Chief Magistrate Herbert lord read the allegations against the 34 year old who is wanted in the U.S. for conspiracy to export controlled drugs, distribution of a controlled drug, impeding and intimidating a U.S. law enforcement officer, and obstruction of justice.
Hertular was remanded to the Hattieville prison where he will sit until his next extradition hearing on February 9.
We are not sure how the extradition hearing will impact Robert's pending trial where he is charged along with his brother Hadrian for drug trafficking. That case, involving over a thousand kilos of cocaine, was to start in this session of the Supreme Court.
