Exactly two weeks after 16 year old Elia Gonzalez was raped and killed in Libertad village police are looking at another shocking and grisly girl-murder in Corozal.

This time it is in San Antonio Village where police were called out after the body of 17 year old Sheila Hall was discovered this morning.

Alfonso Noble Reporting,
At 7:30 this morning, a young man clearing this piece of land in the Esmeralda layout near San Antonio village in Corozal made the gruesome discovery of the body of a young woman. It turned out to be that of 17-year-old Sheila Hall. She was clad only with a brazier while her red pants and a slipper was found near the body. A white cloth was tied around her neck and a large cut wound was observed in her abdomen, exposing her intestines. It's a brutal murder and for clues as to what may have led to such an unconscionable act, we spoke to her guardian Elena Williams who says that Hall left home at around 7 on Sunday night.

Elena Williams, Sheila's Guardian
"Sunday night around 7 she came down the step and went down the street side. I came back inside the house and I never saw her after that."

"I went back inside and left her by the street side so I can't tell you with who she left because only she I saw."

"It's not the first time she has done because she has done already since she moved in with me but she always returned the next day. So I wasn't really worrying that they would kill her because I said she would come back the next day."

That pattern of leaving home and not returning until the following day convinced Williams not to make a report to police. She says that she only became worried yesterday and asked that hall's mother be notified- that never happened.

Elena Williams,
"Monday I told her brother to go and tell her mother that Sheila left and hasn't come back yet. They told me that Sheila does that a lot and that I am taking on Sheila's problem and I already have my own. But I said no I am worrying because she lives with me. So her brother said he would tell her mother but he never did and it wasn't until this morning when they found her dead that I found out her mother wasn't notified."

"When they told me I screamed. I was in downtown when I heard the news."

For Manuela Sanker, Sheila's mother, the pain of losing her daughter is next to unbearable. She just recently returned home from the U.S. to find that her daughter was not living at home and now to bury her.

Manuela Sanker, Sheila's Mother
"She was in the United States with me and I sent her back home because I didn't want her visa to expire and I didn't take her back because I was coming home. I've been back for three weeks now and she doesn't really live with me. But I never expected something like that cause I just come back. When I heard the news I started crying because I said I didn't come home to bury any of my kids. I never thought this would happen. I wish they would catch him so he could be punished for what he did. My daughter is only 17 years old."

Too young to die such a violent and inexplicable death. Now police are trying to find the killer in Corozal second girl murder in two weeks.

A police forensic team this afternoon traveled to Corozal to process the scene and a post mortem is scheduled to be conducted.

Police are asking anyone with information into this latest murder to call 922.
