And while Wellcome got a free pass out of the Hattieville prison, a 38 year old mother will be spending Easter in jail and a little lie might hve cost her freedom.

Michelle Cattouse was arraigned today before Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord on charges of aggravated assault and using threatening words. She pleaded guilty to the charges and was about to be let out on bail until sentencing. But when magistrate Lord asked her, Cattouse first said she was born on June 22, 1972 and was 31. The court knew otherwise and Lord again asked cattouse her age. Her response was that she was born June 22, 1966 not 1972, making her 38. She asked the court to allow her daughter to go and get an I.D. but Lord would hear none of it.

That lie to the court cost her freedom as she was remanded to the Hattieville prison until next week Tuesday. Cattouse was before the court for pulling a knife on her neighbour and threatening another during an argument on Tuesday.
