Four Month Old Murder Solved?

It took four months, but today police made an arrest for the January 3rd murder of Michael Skeet.

19-year-old Maurice Felix was arraigned in court on a charge of murder. Felix who exercised his right to remain silent is sitting in a jail cell tonight.

Skeet was gunned down on Central American Boulevard when he received a fatal shot to the left side of his head. And Felix's rap sheet includes a charge for the attempted murder of David Wade on December 24th. He is alleged to have shot Wade in the left side of his chest at the corner of Pelican Street and Central American Boulevard. He only recently posted bail on that charge but for the murder charges, no bail was granted.
