Woman Attacked in Rockstone Pond

It's a small village on the old northern highway but Rockstone Pond was the scene for the violent attack on a woman on Saturday night.

Tanya Wallace told police that at around 11 on Saturday night she was on her way home when she was attacked by a male acquaintance who sprang out of the bushes to attack her. Using a broken bottle, he stabbed her several times in the neck and left arm. She was treated and released from the KHMH, while police have yet to make an arrest.
