Last night we told you about the high-strung antics in the Chief Magistrate's courtroom when the Solicitor General Elson Kaseke and Attorney Michael Peyrefitte squared off.

As we reported, after that prosecutor Jacqueline Willoughby and Peyrefitte's co-counsel Lionel Welch got into some hard talk of their own when Welch Called her a nobody and she snapped back by telling him to go look in the mirror. Well, today Welch came to our office to complain that our report did not accurately depict what happened. He agrees he did call her a nobody but explains that it was done in the heat and height of an exchange that started when he heard Willoughby talking about him.

Lionel Welch, Hertular's Attorney
"I called my office from in the court and while talking to my office I heard derogative things being said about me and I looked and I saw Miss Willoughby. I ended my cell phone conversation and I went over to Miss Willoughby and said 'tell me what I did you.' She said well 'don't talk to me, move away from me.' She then told me that when she tried to address the court (earlier) I told her to sit down. That is true but that was not done in any angry manner. That is the way the procedure work. I was just asked by the magistrate to address the court and I tried to intervene. And then she went on and on about how I was disrespectful and rude and she heard an insult. It was then I said to her that those words coming from you, comes from nobody. That is all I am here to explain, I was not the aggressor in this thing at all."

Jules Vasquez,
"...At which point she says look in the mirror?"

Lionel Welch,
"I didn't even hear if she said look in the mirror. Quarrel is not my thing."

We are told that the Chief Justice has been duly informed of the lower court high jinks.
