A family feud between a mother and her daughter turned violent over the weekend and Yvonne Ottley is tonight facing criminal charges for harming her elderly mother.
Ottley was today charged in Magistrate's Court with wounding for allegedly injuring her 74-year-old mother Addie Flowers. The incident happened on Friday at their Usher Street residence where Ottley told the court they had an argument and she threw something at her mother. Ottley told Magistrate Dorothy Flowers that it was a mistake and she would never hurt her mother. Her mother who is the victim however also appeared in court and vowed to pursue the case against her daughter with utmost vigor and she also said she wanted her daughter out of the house.
Ottley was released on self-bail of $7,000 and she is due back in court on July 6th.
