It's been a summer of discontent for the public as we've watched over 10 accused killers walk free out of the Supreme Court after the cases against them fell apart. Most of those cases have fallen apart because witnesses were scared to testify and told the court that they remembered nothing. Well now government will amend the evidence act to make it easier for witnesses who are afraid to testify. A government release does not specify how and when this will be done, and simply says, "law enforcement authorities are determined to find solutions." In other jurisdictions, those giving testimony against dangerous criminals have been allowed to use screens to mask their identity.
