Allan Orellano Perdomo was back before a Magistrate today and this time the 21 year old was in trouble for more than just ammunition possession, this afternoon he was charged for attempted murder. Perdomo was charged for the Saturday night Shooting of Ladyville bus driver Jose Bartolo Velasquez.
As we reported on Monday, Velasquez was shot-up as he was walking with friends after leaving the Copa Cabana nightclub. Velasquez, who is now able to speak, told police that a group of five Hispanic men approached him and he identified Perdomo as the gunman who pulled out a shiny chrome revolver and fired two shots at him which hit him on the chin and right shoulder. This afternoon before Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord, Perdomo was arraigned on that attempted murder charge in addition to use of deadly means of harm and deadly means of harm. No plea was taken and his case was adjourned until September 29th. Bail wasn't even an option for the 21 year old who on Monday was fined $10,000 for possession of a bullet. He is also implicated in the weekend burglary of Esther Price's home and police believe a gun stolen in that break in may have been the weapon used in the shooting.
