There is no news to report tonight in the accidental shooting of a toddler in Xaibe village on Friday.
The great grandfather is reportedly still sticking to his story that he was negligent in leaving his gun around and without a clear-cut culprit, the case file has been sent to the DPP for a final decision. The great grandfather Frojedas Catch claims that he left his 16 gauge shotgun and the 2 year old picked it up and fired a shot, killing himself. Sources in the village however say it could have been an 11-year-old cousin of the victim who actually fired the gun. The child was buried on Sunday while the grandfather has been released pending the DPP's decision.
