6 people, including 4 children, are lucky to be alive tonight after the vehicle they were traveling in flipped this morning on the Western Highway. 39-year-old Sharon Leslie was driving to Belize City in this Geo Tracker when the accident occurred. Leslie was along with her two children and had just picked up another passenger and her two children. Reports are that at about mile 3 a vehicle in front of the Tracker suddenly stopped. Leslie reportedly tried to overtake and the vehicle then moved over. She had to swerve sharply to avoid a collision and that's when she flipped. The Tracker landed with all 4 wheels in the air. The children escaped with minor cuts and scratches while the adults suffered injuries to the head. Leslie was heading to Belize City to drop off her 10-year-old son at school. It's a chilling coincidence for Sharon Leslie; she is the cousin of George Lewis who died when his vehicle flipped on Saturday in an accident on the Boom Road.
