Mother Charged for Child's Death

She lost her infant child in a terrible road accident and now police say 20-year-old mother Vincenta Elizabeth Cuxun is responsible. Yesterday she appeared in Magistrate's Court to answer to charges. On September 17th of last year Cuxun had her one-year-old child, Elvis Mayen, on the carrier of her bicycle when she was knocked down on Central American Boulevard. The child fell to the ground and a gas tanker rolled over his head, killing him instantly. Yesterday Cuxun was taken to Magistrate's Court where she was charged for manslaughter by negligence and causing death by careless conduct. No plea was taken as the offences are indictable. She was allowed out on a $2,000.
