And in a another shooting that police believe is related, 21 year old Jonathon Faber is in the hospital tonight with bullet wounds to his back and foot. Police say Faber was shot as he sped from a drive-by shooting and they believe he was the shooter. But today Faber told us he was shot in an entirely different incident. The official story from police is that 43-year-old Glennis Tillet was standing near Warrior Pond Street when shots were fired from a red car that sped through the area. The bullets missed Tillet but they shattered the windshield of a parked Honda. Those in the area retaliated with firepower and that's when the red car sped off but not before one of the occupants was hit. And to tie up the story for police, in comes Jonathon Faber who investigators found last night at a hospital recovering from gunshot injuries. It would have been a neat ending, but Faber says he wasn't anywhere near that crime scene. He told us he was shot while riding his bicycle on Raccoon Street around 9 last night. He said an unknown gunman shot him as he was heading to his home in the Yabra Area. He is still in the hospital under police guard pending investigations into the George Street shooting but he maintains he had nothing to do with; he doesn't know Glennis Tillet and he doesn't own a red car. Police will investigate.

As we told you, this shooting may be related to the attempted murder of Godfrey Hemsley because Hemsley and Faber are friends. Just like Hemsley, Faber says his life had also been threatened.
