Teen Killed in Rollover Accident

In addition to the 4 road fatalities we told you about at the top of our newscast there was another this weekend. A 19 year old was killed when the pickup he was in violently flipped on Saturday afternoon. The victim is Benque Viejo resident Trinidad De La Fuente. Police say De La Fuente was driving a black Toyota pickup on Hummingbird Highway when upon reaching near the Roaring Rover Bridge he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned several times. De La Fuente was pronounced dead on arrival at the Belmopan Hospital while his passenger 21 year old Alvaro Guadalupe Tuyud received minor injuries. Tuyud has since been released from the hospital.
