A Chinese grocer was shot in his buttocks by a pair of young teenage boys who were armed with a 9-millimeter pistol. 41-year-old Shi Xian Mei told police that after 5 on Saturday evening he was in his store, Likce Shop, on Police street when two boys in their early teens entered and ordered 50 cents worth of mint sweets.
Xian Mei says that when he handed them the sweets, one of the boys grabbed his hand while the other pulled out a 9-millimeter gun and shot him. The bullet caught him in the right lower buttocks. The two boys fled on bicycles without anything. Police recovered a 9-millimeter expended shell from the scene and are investigating.
