Emory Young Shot in the Buttocks

A man is in the KHMH tonight with bullet wounds to his hip and buttocks. He is 46-year-old Emory Young and around 11:30 last night he was ambushed by as many as 10 gunshots on Euphrates Avenue. Young told police that he was walking alone in the area when a light skinned man on a bike rode past and pulled out a gun and fired several shots in his direction. Area residents tell us they heard anywhere between 5 and 10 and by the time it was over, Young was hit in his left leg, buttocks, and groin. Police say they have two suspects detained.
