A watchman at the Texaco Gas Station in Sandhill had an encounter with robbers last night. Osborn Palacio who's been working at the gas station for the past two years told police that he was on duty at around 9 when he was accosted by three men. He told us that the men pointed a gun at him, forced him to the ground, and dragged him into the gas station.
Osborn Palacio, Robbery Victim
"I went around by the tank because I heard the dog barking and I went to see and the same time the person jumped from the bushes and he pointed something which looked like a gun to me. I stumbled and then I started to make noise and then he knocked me with the gun and told me to shut up or he'll kill me. Then he dragged over the fence and put me to lay down with face down and I told them ants was biting me. Then they forced me inside, covered me, and then they started to dig up in the place. I don't know what they look like or anything because they had me cover up."
Alfonso Noble,
This is your job, will you come back to work?
Osborn Palacio,
"Well I have the job and I'll do it."
Palacio says the men were of Hispanic descent and there were at least three of them.
