Two weeks ago, when two armed men walked into the accounts office at the Princess Hotel and Casino and walked out with $65,000 it was one of the most sensational robberies the city had seen in years. Well, slowly, police are piecing together the investigation. Today investigators charged a second man, 25-year-old Anivar Palacio. He was charged for crimes of robbery and conspiracy to robbery. Palacio is believed to have been one of the men who entered the office. He appeared in court today where he now joins Egbert Jack Vernon who is believed to have been the driver of the getaway car. Vernon was also charged for conspiracy today, both were remanded into custody. Palacio has a long history with the police: most recently, in August of 2004, he was charged for the Phillip Galatty shooting and robbery.
