Police say an out of control drunk driver caused a nasty collision on Central American Boulevard on Saturday night, which sent two people to the emergency room. That allegedly drunk driver is 33-year-old Kerion Vasquez.
Police say that around 11 on Saturday night Eudel Bennett was driving his yellow Mercedes Benz on Central American Boulevard when he was rear-ended by an Isuzu Rodeo driven by Kerion Vasquez. The impact launched Bennett's Benz onto the median. Bennett and his passenger Inesia Pop received head and body injuries and were treated at the KHMH. They are out of the hospital tonight while Kerion Vasquez has been charged with driving without due care and attention, negligent grievous harm, and operating a motor vehicle with alcohol blood content above the prescribed limit. Vasquez made his first appearance in Magistrate's Court today.
