
Police say they killed Jason Hill because he rode into them, and 18-year-olds Earvin James and Leroy Henry are charged for murder. As we reported, 20-year-old Hill was riding his bike on Friday night on Sarstoon Street when he was chased down and shot with as many as 6 bullets from a 38 revolver. Commander of the Criminal Investigations Branch in Belize City, Assistant Superintendent Chester Williams says the accidental collision cost Jason Hill his life.

"The motive, per say, in connection with the Friday night shooting is simply that Hill was riding a bicycle and he collided with a youngster and it caused a little argument and because of that he was fatally shot. He bumped into Earvin James and then Henry was the triggerman. It was not a lengthy argument."
James and Henry were remanded to prison when they appeared before a Magistrate today. Their next court appearance is scheduled for September 15th.
