Two men have been charged for a bar room brawl that ended in murder in Corozal's Caledonia village. 32-year-old Carlos Umberto Ordonez and 43-year-old Augustine Acosta have both been charged for allegedly killing stabbing 58-year-old Francisco Antonio Cartagena to death. Police say that early Saturday morning the men were drinking inside a bar in the village when a fight erupted. Someone pulled a machete and Cartegena ended up with wounds to his throat and stomach. The now accused murderers claim they were only trying to intervene in an argument between the deceased and his brother. Still police found Cartegena's bloody clothes in Ordonez's home.
