A couple of teenagers were seriously injured in an argument over a stolen bicycle. Reports are that 15-year-old Norman McKenzie and 15 year old Jeremy Felix were in the area of Rasta Street at around 9 last night when they were approached by a 17 year old who asked them the whereabouts of his bicycle.
The 15 year olds told him they knew nothing of it but as the 17 year old was leaving, he turned around and pulled out a sharp object and stabbed McKenzie to the back of the neck and chest several times. Felix tried to intercede but he was knocked unconscious. Both of them had to be hospitalized with fairly serious injuries, but they were discharged and are at home recovering.
Police have made no arrests.
