Four Arrested for Grocery Store Holdup

Last week Tuesday armed robbers stormed into a Chinese grocer in West Landivar, they shot the storeowner and took the cash register. But they were caught on tape and since then police have arrested 4 persons. Ernest Hinds, Russell Hope and a 16-year-old minor have been charged for various aspects of the crime. Hinds and Hope appeared in court and heard charges of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, dangerous harm and robbery. The 16-year-old minor of a Pitter Street address was also arrested and charged for abetment to commit robbery. Both Hinds and Hope rec3eived bail and will re-appear in the latter part of October.
