He touched her private part, she slapped him, and he later died. That was four years ago and today a jury unanimously decided that 34-year-old Emila Roberts Armstrong is not responsible for Wilfred Tench's death. It occurred back in December 2001 inside Los Cocos Bar in Belize City where Armstrong claims that Tench, who is also known as 'sake a you,' made sexual advances and touched her private parts. Armstrong responded by slapping Tench's hand away. She thought that was the end of it until when she was leaving the bar and realized that Tench was on the ground.

He died six days later and she was charged with manslaughter. Armstrong's attorney Dickie Bradley argued that it was self-defense and she had the right to remove his hand. Bradley added that Armstrong didn't intend to push Tench to the ground. A doctor testified that Tench died from a blood clot and the slap would have killed Tench in 3 months, not 6 days. He jury of 2 men and 7 women took two hours to acquit. Kamar Henry was the prosecutor and Troadio Gonzalez was the presiding judge.
