She bought herself a new stereo and DVD player for Christmas, but a schoolteacher barely got a chance to use them before a thief stole them. 53 year old school teacher Dorothy roca told police that between 7:30 and 9 am on Friday her house was burglarized and the culprits made off with her grey Sharp brand stereo valued at $1,200 and her black Samsung DVD player valued at $1,400. Roca noticed no signs of forced entry but their investigations led them to Daniel Olivia's Faber's Road home. Olivia told them he had already returned the items but that didn't save him as he was still charged with burglary. He pleaded not guilty today and he was granted $3,000 bail. He didn't meet bail and was remanded to prison until January 9th.
