Burglars pulled off a major heist on Monday when they broke into the Western Union Office located on Regent Street. The security guard on duty at the time told police that at around 3 on that morning he was held up at gunpoint by two men who bound him with duct tape. The men then proceeded to break into the offices by cutting away the burglar bars from a window. They then got into the office's vault and made off with a moneybag containing over $40,000. They also took the security guard's chrome nine-millimeter pistol. Police have not made any arrests.
