Not even James Bond would pay $20,000 for a golden gun, but that's what a Belize City man will have to pay for his 9 mm pistol. Police found the handgun when they searched 35 year old Errol Wade's home on Fuller's Lane this morning at 7:30. They claim it was stowed away in a corner of the attic above the back door. Police arrested wade and two teenaged boys, one 13 and the other 16, who were in the house.

On the condition that the charges against the minors would be dropped, Wade took the guilty plea this afternoon in #2 Magistrate's Court. Magistrate Dorothy Flowers fined him $10,000 for each offence, allowing him to pay $200 per month for 8 and a half years. If he ever fails to make that payment, he will go to jail for one year for each offence.
