Drunk and Dangerous in Cayo

A man is recovering after being stabbed numerous times. Yesterday evening at 7:00, 25-year-old Peter August of Santa Elena was walking along Orchard Street when a knife-wielding attacker pounced on him. His assailant stabbed him to the right temple, left arm and wrist. Police have since detained a 34-year-old man whom they suspect was intoxicated at the time of the attack. He is to be charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm. August remains in the hospital in a critical condition.
