He allegedly stole his friend's stereo system and hid it, under of all places, the Belcan Bridge. You heard right, the Belcan Bridge was the hiding spot. And while that might be surprising, what isn't, is that David Sosa might have done it because he has 21 previous convictions for crimes ranging from theft to burglary to robbery.

The victim this time is his friend 24-year-old David Longsworth who told police that last night Sosa was at his house watching television. Longsworth claims he went to a neighbor's house to watch television and he left Sosa in his house alone. Longsworth returned after midnight and found his Sharp brand stereo and two Sony brand speakers gone. The police were called and their investigations led them to a spot under the Belcan Bridge, a short distance from Sosa's Mopan Street home.

Today in court the 36 year old accused pleaded not guilty to burglary. Magistrate Roberto Ordonez denied him bail. Sosa has 21 previous convictions and last night's arrest was his 44th.
