He is already serving five years for burglary but 43-year-old Donald King is now looking at five more years for burglary. Last year King pleaded guilty to burglarizing the home of BDF Commander Lloyd Gillett. Today he pled guilty to burglary for breaking into Bharat Budrani's home on July 4th of 2003. King was actually caught in the act. Police chased him and eventually caught up with him. They found two VCRs wrapped in one of his t-shirts. Today Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord sentenced him to 5 years for the Albert Street burglary.
That 5 will run consecutive to the 5 he is already serving, meaning it starts when this first sentence finishes! And if all that isn't bad enough, King has another burglary charge pending. In that case, King s stands charred with burglarizing Wilson Soberanis' East Canal home on April 28th of 2004. That case will go to trial on March 17th.
