He is a convicted burglar and self-confessed crack addict but instead of jail, today 19 year old Akeem Tillet asked a Magistrate for rehabilitation. Tillet was in court today for burglarizing the Cemetery Road home of salesman Pablo Valle on February 12 of this year. Valle told police that around 2 am on that day he heard sounds and when he checked he saw Tillet's hand pushed through his window grabbing a bag of 60 wash rags. Tillet fled and with the help of a police officer he was cornered and eventually captured.

Last week Tillet was in court for burglarizing the offices of Aikman and Aikman on Barrack Road. The story there is that during a staff meeting Tillet used the opportunity to steal an employee's purse with $53 and personal documents inside. Today Tillet again pleaded guilty to burglary and Magistrate Harrison Hulett sent him to prison but ordered that he be placed into a drug rehabilitation program.
