The Police Internal Affairs Department is conducting an investigation into allegations made by a 15 year old girl who claims that she is pregnant for a police officer.
As we had reported on Friday the 15 year old says that she had gone to the police to make a complaint but
Ended up having sexual relations with at least two policemen. One of them for whom she is now pregnant. Today Officer Commanding Internal Affairs Superintendent Robert Mariano told us that contrary to what the family has been claiming, the police have been working on the case since the girl made the complaint in January. He adds that there are only two officers who are presently being investigated in the case. Mariano says that his office is nearing the completion of their investigation and a case file is being compiled. That process will be completed by the end of this week and the file will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions for further action.
