More Weapons and Ammunition Near Deer Caye

Deer Caye, it's a little known islet just behind San Pedro, and apparently a major storage site for narco-traffickers. On April first, police found 34 high powered rifles buried on the Caye and yesterday they made another find in the area. This time it's not Deer Caye, but an small island 1 mile north of that. Acting on intelligence, the Anti-Drug Unit found an AK47 rifle, and AR 15 rifle and an Uzi submachine gun along with magazines and assorted ammunition. They also found large tanks of fuel and radio antennas. No one was arrested, but police believe that the firearms and the fuel were to be used for refueling go-fast drug vessels heading to the United States.
