He is a 15-year-old accused of a most ruthless killing, slashing the throat of domestic Maura Noemi Garcia with an ornamental samurai sword. Well, John Chestman is back in the news and back prison tonight after he escaped from the KHMH at 11:00 on Saturday night. The young man had been admitted at the hospital for gastro intestinal problems and was left under the watch of a KBH security guard when he escaped. Reportedly the young man had gone to use the bathroom when he climbed out the window and ran off.
KHMH security officers making perimeter checks saw the young man bolting and that's when the alarm was sounded. The 15 year old's run was short lived as he was captured sometime around 3:30 yesterday afternoon in the vicinity of George Street. He was escorted back to prison where he will now be charged with escape.
