One week ago he ran from his house on Progress Street in Orange Walk Town to the police station to tell them that his father was under attack by two men. Well tonight, police say that was all just a lie; investigators say 26-year-old Beres Anglin killed his own father.
Today Anglin was charged along with an associate of his 23 year old Calbert Carcamo. Both men were charged for murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Police
believe that both men, who were seen together the night before, lured 80 year old George Anglin to a shed and then stabbed him as many as 15 times in the neck.
What was the motive? Well it appears his son wanted to sell off property that Anglin Sr. held the title to. Angling Sr. had roots and property in Jamaica. Police say both Carcamo and Beres Anglin have a history of run-ins with the law for mostly petty crimes. They will be arraigned tomorrow.
