A policeman is clinging to life at the KHMH after falling from a two storey building in Benque. At around 7:30 on Thursday night, Corporal Ruel Rodriguez and Constable Hilmar Vega went to a residence in Benque Viejo to attend to personal business. Rodriguez says that Vega made his way to the second floor of the building and knocked on the door. While waiting for an answer Vega leaned against the railing of the building. It was unsound and came crashing down; unable to re-gain his footing, Vega fell off the two storey building headfirst. He received a serious fracture of the skull and he has been transferred to the KHMH where he is listed in critical condition. Late this evening, he was undergoing surgery.
