He asked for sex, she said no, and police say that is when 26-year-old Felix Coc attempted to rape an American tourist. The incident allegedly occurred in Placencia at 12:01 am, on July 1st. The tourist says she was walking on the beach when Coc approached her. The two talked and Coc ended up asking her to have sex. She said no and that is the woman claims Coc threw her to the ground, exposed himself and tried to pull off her clothes. She fought him off and escaped. Coc was picked up on Tuesday, identified by the woman, and has since been charged for attempted rape.
