They were allegedly part of a gang of thieves burglarizing homes and then setting the buildings on fire to cover their tracks. Tonight police say they have two of the masterminds in jail. 18-year-old Hildibrant Codd Jr. and 23 year old Marlon Fisher Harris have been jointly charged for arson, burglary, and handling stolen goods.
Police believe the pair along with other accomplices are responsible for a string of burglaries and arson in the Belmopan area. When police busted Harris and Codd they found them with some of the stolen items.
Most of the victims were out of the country at the time of the break-ins. Police are looking for other co-conspirators
We note that Marlon Fisher Harris is no stranger to 7NEWS. The last time we spoke to him was from a hospital bed in the KHMH. A bounty was out on his head and he told us he was heading back to Belmopan to find peace.
