O/W Child Predator Jailed

A man who tried to kidnap a 6-year-old girl is in jail tonight. Police say that on Tuesday evening Danielle Salazar sent her daughter to a shop across the street to buy. It is a short distance but it was enough for Guatemalan Pedro Gonzalez to pick up the girl and put her on the crossbar of his bike. Salazar saw what happened before Gonzalez had time to flee and screamed for help. Gonzalez dropped the girl and rode off. Police caught up with him and he has since been charged for abduction and aggravated assault. He was remanded to the Hattieville Prison until September 13th.
