A Canadian man who went on a fishing trip on Thursday has been confirmed drowned. Hector Allen told police that at around 3 yesterday he rented a 23 foot skiff and went on a fishing trip to Spanish Caye some 25 miles east of Belize City. At the time he was accompanied by 28-year-old Robert Daignault and 56 year old Greg MacLennan who are Canadian nationals.
