He was born Ernest Young but the man you are about to meet says you can just call him Ras Trans. Young has a new album and a video out. The song is called "Youth Be Humble" and it is on his debut album called "Brock Jam Undaground." Ras Trans today showed us his new video and told us his story.
Ras Trans,
“I am Ras Trans, a young struggling Belizean artist from south side of Belize, Jane Usher from Brock Jam Records. I am a registered and certified business organization. We are just into music and expressing ourselves through music.
‘Youth Be Humble; is just based on activities around the country right now. The Bible is a perfect example for everybody to identify themselves with, especially in this time.”
Keith Swift,
That is the message in the song?
Ras Trans,
“Yes, identity, peace and love, togetherness. Knowledge justifies a man and the Bible is instructions before leaving earth so that is the perfect example for anybody to wise up and get the sense.”
That video was directed by Dennis Peyrefitte. Ras Trans' album is now in record stores.
