Two years ago today 25-year-old Keisha Gordon was brutally murdered in an alley off of Princess Margaret Drive. Police have questioned multiple suspects, but none have been charged. Today on the second anniversary of Keisha's murder, Police and Crime Stoppers Belize took a step they hope will bring them closer to finding Keisha's killer. Here's more.
Keith SwiftReporting,
Keisha’s mom Elsiemae and her aunt Olga say two years later the loss of a daughter and a niece still hurts.
Elseimae Gordon, Mother
“Right now I want them to find who killed my daughter because today makes two years and I grieve because today is my birthday and today she would have celebrated my birthday, me and her. She was daughter, friend, and everything in one so I realty want them to help me and whosoever did this thing to give up themselves."
Keith Swift,
Two years later is dealing with the grief any easier?
Elseimae Gordon,
“It gets worse to me because every day I cry. Everyday I remember her I cry. Everyday.”
Olga Gordon, Aunt
“Today as we speak will make it two years since she was killed; very painful for us. We are trying to remember her for who she was, how she used to attend the parade, dance in the carnival, and do everything that she could as a friend, as a mother, as a niece, as a cousin.”
And though they mourn, Keisha’s family now has renewed hope that her killer will be found. This morning crime stoppers launched a re-enactment video in the hopes of finding Keisha’s killer. We warn you that the video is dramatic. See the Reenactment [ON DEMAND]
Police and Crime Stoppers hope the video will jog memories, generate tips and lead to Keisha’s killer. Inspector Alden Dawson is the lead investigator.

“I must say that with our cases, especially when murder is concerned, there is no limit to where we stop and as recent as last Friday there was a suspect in custody where this crime is concerned.”
The new suspect that Inspector Dawson refers to is this man: Gregory Stamp.

Stamp was detained late last week but not charged. Stamp today told us police duct taped him and threatened his life.
Gregory Stamp, Suspect
“They blindfolded me with tape, my eyes, my nose and my mouth and a PC cranked the pistol and put it in my pants waist and said I wanted to kill the police. They handcuffed me and the PC stuck the knife in my hands and said they have evidence. I squeezed my two hands together and then he stuck the knife in my pants pocket.”
Keith Swift,
Did you have any relation to Keisha Gordon?
Gregory Stamp,
“No sir.”
Keith Swift,
Where were you at the time of the murder?
Gregory Stamp,
“At the time of the murder I was working at Edward P. Yorke High School as a security officer performing my duties.”
Keith Swift,
So why would the police pick you up for the murder two years later?
Gregory Stamp,
“Well Keith I don’t know. I have nothing, absolutely nothing to do with this murder.”
The Chairman of Crime Stoppers Belize is Alberto Young.

“Of great significance will be our unsolved crimes reenactment videos as our aim is to highlight and solve crimes and encourage more eyewitness participation starting with the launch of our video today.”
And that is fine by this mom who wants nothing more than justice for her daughter.
Elsiemae Gordon,
“Please give up themselves and whosever saw anything, please call the police station or if they know something just say something because right now I am hurt bad and I would really want who did to just give up themselves.”
Since inception the Crime Stoppers hotline has received 244 tips. 20 of those tips have led to arrests. Two tipsters have also received cash rewards of one thousand dollars each for information that solved two murders. Click here for the Crime Stoppers Webpage.
